Recycling Paper Investigation

This week's Science lesson involved the investigation of which type of paper would recycle best.
Students tested four types of paper: newspaper, crepe paper, tissue paper and a facial tissue.
They recorded how many times the piece of paper had to be shaken in the jar before it was reduced to pulp.
Science is fun!

Literacy Groups

Students in Year 2 have been working hard during Literacy Groups.  Each week students work in small groups to complete a range of tasks designed to improve their literacy skills.  Students may work with Mrs Vague, Mrs Neuendorf, Mrs Hinrichsen, Mrs Nykvist or Mrs Nicola.  One group works independently on comprehension tasks using the new Yellow Reading Box.

Raw Art

Slithering snakes was the title for today's Raw Art workshop.
Students worked in groups to create some stunning snakes using paint, charcoal, chalk and collage.
