Push and pull forces were investigate using a large parachute.
It was lots of fun pulling against the force of the air pushing the parachute.

Wayne Patterson loves our Stories

I recently visited Wayne Patterson to take him copies of two of the Fat Rabbit books containing stories written by Year 2 students.
Wayne was absolutely delighted to receive the books and has posted photos of some of the children's stories on the Fat Rabbit Facebook page,

Wheat Seeds

Inspired by Faith's recent "Show and Share", today we placed some wheat seeds on cotton wool to see if we can grow them.
Students considered the procedure involved in preparing the investigation and then set about putting their plate of wheat seeds together.
Now we wait.....

Boonah Show Ed

All Saints' students were invited to participate in Show Ed at the Boonah Show on Friday.  Various volunteers and convenors were on hand to conduct activities for students to participate in.
The activities for 2V were:  Fine Art, Cooking and Bush Buddies.
Once again, I have to apologise for sideways photos, but my efforts to rotate the images continue to be unsuccessful.
I will put the individual photos of students holding the crocodile in a separate blog post.
